If you love toast, you’ve got to try this easy and delicious breakfast recipe!
Cream cheese and smoked salmon are always a great match—but this time, we’re taking it to the next level by adding garlic butter.
The result? A rich, irresistible toast you’ll want to make again and again.
Ingredients
Bread for toasting (whole grain recommended) | 2 slices |
Garlic paste (from a tube is fine) | 1 tsp |
Butter | 2 tbsp |
Cream cheese | as much as you like |
Smoked salmon | 60g |
Lemon juice | 1 tsp |
Black pepper | about 2 shakes |
How to Make
1⃣ Make the garlic butter
Place the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for about 1 minute until melted.
Add garlic paste and mix well.

2⃣ Toast the bread
Spread the garlic butter on the bread and toast in the oven until golden.
(To get it extra crispy, toast both sides.)
3⃣ Top and finish
Spread cream cheese on the toasted bread, then add smoked salmon.
Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle black pepper to finish.

This recipe works great with all kinds of bread.
