Nice to meet you! I’m Wagashi Ann.
I love spending time leisurely enjoying delicious food.
Especially, when I take a bite of a meal I worked hard to make and can’t help but say, “This is so good!”—that moment is pure happiness for me.
When I was living abroad, I didn’t eat much Japanese food. But one day, I suddenly craved a bowl of Japanese ramen so badly that I went out searching for a ramen shop. The moment I took my first bite, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort, and I almost teared up. That experience made me realize how powerful food can be—it has the ability to bring comfort and happiness.
On this site, I want to share the memorable flavors I encountered during my time abroad, as well as the recipes I’ve created through trial and error.
I hope you’ll find a recipe here that makes you think, “I’m so glad I found this!”
I’ll be updating with more delicious recipes, so stay tuned!

Name: WagashiAnn
As a student, I dreamed of traveling the world while learning English, which led me to live in Australia and Canada for a year each.
Since then, I have traveled to over 20 countries, immersing myself in various food cultures.
Currently, while working fulltime, I have been streaming cooking content for over three years.
Receiving recipe-related questions and requests from viewers strengthened my desire to help more people enjoy delicious and home cooking, which inspired me to launch my recipe website, “Waga Recipes.”
I share recipes from different countries, including traditional Japanese dishes, handling everything from cooking and filming to website management.
Through my content, I hope to make everyday cooking more enjoyable for everyone. (Updated: March 2025)
