Ingredients
Cooked rice | 1 bowl |
Sushi vinegar | 2 tsp |
Avocado | 1 |
Frozen peeled shrimp | 10 pieces |
Garlic | 1 clove |
Olive oil | 1 tbsp |
Butter | 5 g (about 1 tsp) |
Soy sauce | 1 tsp |
Salt & pepper | about 5 shakes |
Mayonnaise | to taste |
How to Make
1⃣ Prep
Defrost the shrimp and pat dry.
Mince the garlic.
Dice the avocado and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2⃣ Sauté garlic
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook garlic over low heat until fragrant.
3⃣ Cook the shrimp
Add the shrimp and cook for about 1 minute per side until fully cooked.

4⃣ Season
Add butter, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry until the shrimp turn golden.
5⃣ Assemble
Mix the rice with sushi vinegar, top with avocado and shrimp.
Finish with a drizzle of mayonnaise if you like.


This dish is inspired by a mix of Hawaiian Garlic Shrimp and a Poke Bowl (like an avocado and tuna rice bowl). When I tried it, it turned out absolutely delicious!
